A native of Polk County, Jill Dorsett understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in the sunshine state with its beaches, tourist attractions, culture, and diversity. A graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Southern Mississippi, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a master’s degree in Education Administration & Supervision. She has worked in public education as a teacher, consultant, and school principal in school systems throughout Florida and Georgia.
A very active and connected community volunteer, Jill has served as Executive Board Member for Girls Inc. Lakeland, member of the Polk Vision Education Task Force, Lakeland Business Leaders, Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, as well as other local organizations. She has received numerous community awards including “Woman of the Year” by the Business and Professional Women’s Organization of North Sarasota; and Who’s Who among America’s Teachers Honoree.
Highly goal-oriented, working in the real estate field has been Jill’s desire since working in property management for real estate investment properties. Leveraging her experience as owner of an education management company, Jill believes strongly that it is her duty to represent her customers to the best of her ability and educate them throughout every step of the process armed with top-notch information and market insight, so that her customers make the best decisions possible.
In her spare time, she enjoys travel, boating, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
